Dapoli - Mahabaleshwar of Konkan

Dapoli is famous for the ancient temples and only place other than Chiplun where there is a Parashuram temple. Shree Bhargavram temple dedicated to sage Parashuram is located in Ade about 15 kms from Dr Dalvi's Ashiyana. Anjarle known for the Kadyavarcha Ganpati temple is about 9 kms from the homestay.

Apart from the beautiful beaches and the seaforts you could visit the archaeological sites of Panhalekaji and the hot springs of Unhavare during your stay at Dr Dalvi's Ashiyana.

Panhalekaji is a group of 28 - 29 exquisite Buddhist rock-cut cave temples, rich with sculptures and artefacts approximately 40kms from Harnai. About 20 Kms from Dapoli is the Unhavare village famous for the hot sulphur springs. Unhavare is worth a visit if you are on a long vacation to Dapoli.
